Grand Californian Resort
July 5-7
Ever since the Grand Californian Resort opened, we set our sights on staying there. If you don't know, it is literally in the California Adventure Theme Park. So awesome! The only problem is that it is too awesome and it's ALWAYS booked! This time, we planned months in advance and managed to get a room with a theme park view.
We left San Diego around 11am on Saturday (7/5), dropped Stella at grandma's (aka: my moms house) and we were on the Hollywood Tower ride by 2pm! California Adventure (CA) is so fun and it's never as crowded as Disneyland. Our room came with a 3-day park-hopper ticket. We were able to navigate away from the summertime crowds (which weren't even that bad) by going back and forth between CA, Disneyland, Downtown Disney and our room. We checked out Monday at noon and headed back to SD. It was such a great weekend. I could have stayed for a couple more days :D
